Our unique relationships with these companies have been nurtured over several years, with millions of pounds worth of Fleet Insurance business being successfully placed through them. Each company is held in high regard within the insurance industry which means that we have absolutely no hesitation in passing your Fleet Insurance proposals to them.

Brit have been writing motor business since the 1930’s under the guises of three Lloyd’s syndicates; Paladin, Anchor and RB Motor Policies. An amalgamation over the preceding years of the three syndicates culminated in the formation of Wren Motor Policies at Lloyd’s in 1994. Most recently Wren Motor has migrated into Brit Insurance Limited and has developed into a significant part of Brit Insurance’s business portfolio.

Chaucer Syndicates Limited is a prominent Lloyd's Managing Agent and manages over £700m premium income; it is a part of Chaucer Holdings PLC a publicly quoted company. Their success as a motor insurer is based on firm principles; commitment to understanding and answering brokers’ needs, insistence on high service levels and product innovation and continuous investment in advanced business to business technology.

 

Equity is managed by Cox Syndicate Management Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and is one of the top ten motor insurers in the UK. It is a Lloyd's syndicate, which focuses on underwriting motor and personal lines insurances through the broker market.

 

Highway, part of the Liverpool Victoria group of companies, is a leading personal lines insurer committed to providing technical and service excellence. Established more than 50 years ago as a motor insurance specialist our products are distributed predominantly through independent intermediaries, of which we have strong relationships with around 2,500 across the UK and Northern Ireland.

In 2008 Highway will have more than 650,000 customers representing total premium of £260 million.

 

Jubilee currently underwrites £50 million in motor premiums. The group is now owned 60% by the individual shareholders and 40% by leading Caribbean insurance group, Guardian Holdings Limited. Guardian bought into the managing agency and its holding company in January 2004.

 

Summit Insurance was formed as a Lloyds syndicate in 1963 and has continued to expand since that time becoming a leading fleet insurer. An in-house solicitor was appointed in 1990 and in 1996 was registered as Just Law. In 1997 Eclipse at Lloyds was merged with Summit. Summit Insurance is a specialist insurer with a reputation for innovative and flexible underwriting and for producing quality cover to meet client’s needs. Summit provide a wide range of motor insurance products ranging from large fleets to coaches to haulage to mini fleets.
